There’s new research showing it may have potent effects on other elements of overall health too. Research also shows that it can reduce stress levels and improve memory function.
With a growth rate of 167 percent, Simporter data suggests that new products in the fermented beverages market including spearmint leaves will pique the interest of a rapidly growing number of consumers.
Dark Amber Maple Syrup
Maple syrup is a tasty, healthy sweetener that contains a decent source of antioxidants. Currently being hailed as one of the best alternatives to regular sugar, one study found between 24 and 56 different types of these beneficial compounds in maple syrups with the darker ones containing more than lighter varieties.
Abundantly loaded with zinc, manganese, and other cancer-fighting antioxidants, dark amber maple syrup appears to be growing in popularity. With a growth of an even 100 percent, Simporter data suggests that including this ingredient in any fermented beverages will be a sales driver and may be more enticing to consumers than regular sweeteners.
Ginger
The ancient spice of ginger has been used for centuries to keep people healthy and support optimum health. It has long been hailed as an essential ingredient in a multitude of cuisines throughout the world. It also serves as the number one remedy to calm morning sickness by newly pregnant women.
In addition to all those benefits mentioned above, ginger reduces pain and inflammation for arthritis symptoms, supports the immune system, eases nausea, stimulates an appetite, and eases sore muscles after exercise.
With a growth rate of 73 percent, it looks like this handy little root is set to make more comebacks than Madonna as it grows in popularity with consumers.
